We see patients at my practice who don't want to leave after 5 minutes with just a prescription, but who would like to work on the root cause of their health struggles or take a long term preventive approach on their life.
The focus of my practice is on functional medicine. Unfortunately, there is no board certification for functional medicine in Germany (yet), but I have extensive training in practicing medicine. I am a licensed medical doctor who is double board-certified in anesthesiology and emergency medicine, but in my practice, the center of my work is on nutrition and general functional medicine since the root of disease interests me more than the sole treatment of symptoms.
My practice is equipped to do a broad spectrum of lab tests. We can measure heart rate variability, CO2, write ECG's and do ultrasound exams.

We will provide you with an invoice for possible reimbursement with private insurances such as BCBS, Cigna or FSBP as well as TRICARE. We do not directly bill insurances so out-of-network deductibles may occur or not everything may be covered. You will pay this invoice directly to us (all major credit cards accepted).
We send most blood to an outside lab for processing, who will mail you a separate invoice you can hand in to your private insurance company or Tricare. If you have a high-deductible plan or are uninsured, self-pay discounts are available on lab testing.
Please understand that we will not accept German social insurance (such as AOK, BKK, TK). Patients on these insurances may be seen on a self-pay basis. Expect € 140 – 200 per each 20 minutes.
With Dr. Gersch's unique app, you will have
The app guarantees encrypted communication with high security standards, but with the easiness of using your smartphone.
The app is only available to patients of the practice. To get access, ask in the office for your personal login code.
Consultation hours are by appointment only. Please schedule an appointment online, email [email protected] or call +49 631 / 34 35 97 38.
Cancellations and missed appointments: If you need to reschedule an appointment, you may do so once up to seven days prior to the appointment by clicking the designated rescheduling link in the email confirming the appointment. If you want to fully cancel an appointment, please reply to the email or contact the practice at least one week ahead of the appointment. After those seven days, the spot in Dr. Gersch's schedule will be reserved just for you. If you cannot make it to the appointment, we therefore still need to bill you for that as we do not have other patients waiting in the practice who could take your spot.
If you call us or visit our office, our healthcare assistants will be there for you. They will help you to schedule with us, but also with other practices (avoiding language barriers). They will support you in every way and will be happy to answer all your questions.
During an appointment, you will be seen and treated either by Dr. Gersch or by Dr. Möller. The physicians will be supported in the background by our assistant doctor Mrs Berg and by our medical assistant Jennifer.
All members of our team will also be available through our app.
