Many foods such as vegetables, meat, but also baked goods are low in calcium. An exception is spinach with values of more than 100 mg/100 g, but spinach contains oxalic acid. Oxalic acid binds calcium. You can actually not absorb this calcium, but rather you will probably have a net loss of calcium when you eat spinach. You will reach areas with a high calcium content only with milk or dairy products (which you should eat with foods rich in oxalic acid such as spinach in order to absorb the oxalic acid). Cheese has outstanding values of up to 1,2 g/100 g.
